Some very sweet dogs that need homes/Plano pet photographer

Yesterday I got to spend my morning with some really special dogs from Collin County Castaways. Here’s a little “backstory” for you about this wonderful organization:

“Collin County Castaways is a few girls, a lot of hope and determination to do better by the animals at Collin County Animal Shelter. Collin County Animal Shelter is a kill shelter in McKinney that gets very little adoption traffic. They need help moving these babies into happy endings otherwise destined for euthanization. Please contact them if you are interested in adopting one of their lovely foster dogs or if you would like to help volunteer, foster or help in any way”.

I will tell you that there is nothing “un-adoptable” about these sweet dogs. They haven’t found homes because they aren’t being seen. And if they don’t find homes, they die. This is a kill-shelter and these dogs have a limited time to be there.

If you are interested in finding out more you can find them at:
Collin County Castaways
Facebook page

Please contact them if you are interested in adopting one of their lovely foster dogs or if you would like to help volunteer, foster or help in any way. Let’s help get some of these babies adopted!

Here are some of the portraits that I did yesterday for these sweet, loving, wonderful dogs.

It just brings tears to my eyes that these beautiful animals don’t have families to love them. They are all so beautiful. I’m afraid if I lived near, I’d have to have them all. I surely hope they all find homes.

I can attest that all four of these lovies are so very sweet, loving and playful. Each of them would make a great addition to a dog-loving family.

Dear Amy, I cannot tell you how exited we are to be working with you! As I told you when we met that weekend your photography speaks to my heart and moves me to tears, and the photo’s with Krystal and her pups were no exception. Your ability to capture such emotion in each photo is truely a gift, that in my opinion sets you above others. Thank you so much~DeDe
