I am so proud to have recently been accepted into two very special professional organizations.
First, the National Association of Professional Child Photographers (www.napcp.com) Their mission is “to promote and support the artistry and integrity of the most talented, creative, and professional child photographers”. It is an honor to be accepted into such good company of talent child photographers.
Second, HeArts Speak (www.heartsspeak.org). They are a wonderful new organization whose focus is to connect animal artists with animal rescue groups in order to use their art to help get animals adopted. Now, you all know how crazy I am about animals. I am super excited to get started working with this organization to help give back some of the love that I get from my two dogs every day.

Here’s how it works: 10% off of your session fee AND your ala carte prints for each time you’ve previously been here (up to 30%). So, if you’ve been here once you get 10% off your prints. Twice? You get 20% off. Three or more? 30% off. Please note that this is not to be used with other promotions or casting call sessions.

Shanti is 3 years old today. As you know, if you follow the blog, this past year was a tough one for her. We had some big surgeries and some scary times. It makes this birthday extra special. We sure do love this little girl 
Little baby Zac was a precious as can be, and mom told me that his big sister prayed for a baby every single day for 2 years. What a great big sister she is going to be to this little guy!
It is hard to believe that I have known Kai for 5 years. This time, it was clear that he is no baby anymore. This is a full fledged little boy. I love this quiet moment though (it didn’t last for long!)…
I can’t believe he is almost one year old already. Seems like yesterday that he was a tiny baby!
Well, as my Facebook friends know–we have had a roosting owl in our neighborhood that recently had babies. I have been just crossing my fingers to get a pic of the baby (one did not make it). So, last week my neighbor called to tell me that she could see the owl really well. I went down there with my camera and unfortunately for me, the baby wasn’t in the greatest spot with regards to the light. How thoughtless of her! So, forgive my not so great quality pics, but I just had to share my excitement. Everyone, meet “Baby”:
This girl has grown so much since our session last year. Not a baby anymore, but a joyful and happy little girl.
Fun, fun, fun Mommy and Me session with a fave family–I really love these little ones. And their Mommy made a really good point when she said that since she is always the one taking the pics, she isn’t in a lot of pics with the kids. I’m so glad that she came in for this session. These will be very special, I’m sure.
