our neighborhood “baby”…

Well, as my Facebook friends know–we have had a roosting owl in our neighborhood that recently had babies.  I have been just crossing my fingers to get a pic of the baby (one did not make it).  So, last week my neighbor called to tell me that she could see the owl really well.  I went down there with my camera and unfortunately for me, the baby wasn’t in the greatest spot with regards to the light.  How thoughtless of her!  So, forgive my not so great quality pics, but I just had to share my excitement.  Everyone, meet “Baby”:

Analisa, 5 years old/Dallas Child Photography

This girl has grown so much since our session last year.  Not a baby anymore, but a joyful and happy little girl.

Mommy and Me (with Little Pete and Bridget)/Dallas Family Photography

Fun, fun, fun Mommy and Me session with a fave family–I really love these little ones.  And their Mommy made a really good point when she said that since she is always the one taking the pics, she isn’t in a lot of pics with the kids. I’m so glad that she came in for this session. These will be very special, I’m sure.

Joseph, 8 days old/Dallas Newborn Photography

This little guy reminded me of all of the things I love about photographing newborns.  The earlier the better!

JoVaughn (10 months)/Dallas baby photography

I’m just taking a quick look through the images from this session and this one just really jumped out at me.  I’ll be adding more when I get a chance, but I just loved the emotion in this one.  So sweet.  This is the kind of image that speaks to me so loudly.  Simple and full of emotion.

Delightful Ahni/Dallas Child Photographer

I have such a special connection with this little girl.  Her mom was someone I just felt that connection with at our first session, when she was pregnant with Ahni.  Then this sweet girl arrived and has been a delight to photograph (and spend time with) every single time since.  Our last session was a “Daddy and Me” one, so it was nice this time to work with just Ahni and Mommy.
