South Florida vacation-lots of pics.

We’re home!  We had a wonderful time in Florida.  First we visited my family (I grew up down there), then Pat and I went to Key Largo for a few days of R&R.  Then back to Hollywood for my grandmother’s 94th birthday.

First, a pic of me and my “baby” brother Darren.  I usually do not like any pics of myself but I was so happy to see him and it shows!

Darren had to go out of town for the weekend so my mom and stepdad babysat his dogs. They definitely helped us with our doggie homesickness. Both were so cute. Yogi is the big brother beagle, and Sasha is the new baby. She was so good that we actually came home mad at Shanti for being so bad!

The sunsets in Key Largo were to die for! Seriously, we only went out to dinner once because we didn’t want to miss the sunsets. Every night was different (and these are straight out of the camera–no Photoshop here), except for the boat out in the distance that stayed put the entire time:

Good times~!

Rivers (almost 4), Autumn (almost 2) and John (2 months)

Whew….well, we were supposed to go to the park but it ended up really cold this morning and these 2 lovely girls were in sundresses.  So we postponed our outdoor fun but decided to just do a “mini” inside session.  Let me just say–it is a challange to work with 3 little ones these ages.  I love each of this children, really I do.  These have been favorite clients for a long, long time.  But you can imagine, right?  Rivers is looking at me, but Autumn is running out of frame.  Or Autumn is sitting nicely but Rivers has rolled over on the floor. Or they are both in frame but looking in different directions.   And then there’s John.  At 2 months old he is a precious, adorable, laid back baby.  But definitely not “rugged” enough to participate –as the girls don’t really understand how to hold his head up and he can’t hold it up yet himself.

So….I’m hoping that we wait long enough before going to the park that John is sitting up.  Or at least can hold his head up while being held.  But here’s a couple from today that I like.  First, the lovely Rivers.  I adore this girl.

Next, little sister Autumn. She thinks her belly is just hilarious.

Sweet baby John. I wish I’d had more time with him alone.

I love this one of the 3 together. It was really difficult to get the 3 of them at one time.

My personal fave, Rivers and Autumn in a quiet moment. You all know how much I love a nice “serious” portrait! I just love the quietness of it.

Annalysa, 4 years old

WARNING:  There are a ton of pics in this post.  I can’t help myself.  You can see for yourself why…

What a delight this precious girl is.  She is such a sweet ball of wonderful energy.  Oh, to be 4 years old again.  She has such a sense of wonder in everything and more enthusiasm than should even be possible first thing in the morning!

What a face this beautiful girl has:

And she was so adorable with the beautiful Texas wildflowers:

She wanted to feed those ducks sooooo badly! I was chasing her chasing the ducks all over the place:

And then….there’s her achingly beautiful relationship with her mother. I mean, really, the two of them together just touches my heart. Big love.

So, Maria and Annalysa….I hope you like these images as much as I liked taking them!
