Well I have been excitedly waiting for this little pumpkin to arrive. I am just so thrilled for his family. And let me tell you, baby Noah does not disappoint. He is about as precious as precious can be.

Just sharing a little bit of my personal life here
Tomorrow we are trying Doggie Day Care for Shanti. We went yesterday for her tempermant test and they said she’ll do great, but I feel like a mommy sending her 5 year old off to Kindergarten for the first time. And, oh my gosh, what an annoying mom I’d be. You should see the list that I have typed (yes, you read that right) out for the daycare people–no tug toys (remember her awful surgeries last year?), no playing outside if it is over 90 degrees out (she is a pug, you know), please practice “wait” and “leave it” with her…oy. I’m sure these people can’t wait to see the back of me driving away!
I think that this could be a really good thing for her. She’d have a chance to socialize with other dogs and also to meet new people. But, yesterday, after we got back from the one hour assessment she was so exhausted she slept until this morning. So, of course, the worrying begins (how can that be normal to be that tired, blah, blah, blah)–because, hey, that’s just how I roll.
Anyway, keep in mind this face tomorrow and send good thoughts her way! I hear there’s a French Bulldog that will just love our Shanti!
I love this family. Seriously, they are the sweetest family. I love Stacy, Derek, Jordan, Layton, Lexi, and Liam. Heck, I even love Grandma. And she really, really wanted a family portrait. She told me she doesn’t have any good pics of all of them together. Now…we all know that I like a more relaxed, informal type of portrait. But with 7 people (4 of them adult-size, and 3 under the age of 3 and a 1/2) in my tiny studio…well, I think we all did a pretty good job!
To be honest, this really wasn’t Bo’s day. And we’re going to try again really soon. But just to prove it wasn’t a total wash out, I had to put a few pics up. Because, hey, even on a bad day–this kid is c-u-t-e.

There is a great organization called Rehabilitation Through Photography that you need to know about. Their words are better than any way that I might describe them….
“Rehabilitation Through Photography provides photography instruction and programs to the physically and emotionally handicapped, the elderly, at-risk youth, the economically disadvantaged, the homeless and, the visually impaired. This photography instruction engages individuals with the wider world beyond their limitations and empowers them to see and act in creative and life-affirming ways.”
I just love that. Anyway, they are wrapping up their summer drive right now and need donations of new or used cameras. Check out this link for more info.
They only need 75 more cameras by Sept.1 to meet their goal. I know we can help them!
Oh my gosh…the smile, those eyes, the curls, those cheeks. I got a sugar rush just looking at this beautiful little girl. Her whole personality shines through in her beautiful expressions. She was a fun girl to spend a morning with!

I adore these 2 girls. Every time that I get to spend some time with them is special. Here are just a couple, but I’ll be adding more in the next few days when I get a chance…

All I can say is “whew”. I love Brady, but man…he is a force in motion. What a busy, busy little guy. I was so glad to have caught a moment or two of pure “Brady-ness”….

I’m so excited for Aimee and Craig. We met just a little over a year ago when they were pregnant with baby Jonah and it was such a miracle for them. And now, they are expecting baby Noah in just a few short weeks. Life can really surprise you sometimes, and I’m so happy that they have had such wonderful surprises!

Almost-one-year-old Miss C. is almost too adorable for words…but I’ll try-adorable, delightful, sweet, happy, yummy. Here’s one and I’ll definitely be adding more soon:

A few more…
